I watched a film starring Justin Timberlake called Time out, did you see it? 🙄
Wow, it blew my mind! Imagine a world where time isn’t just ticking away in the background—it's the actual currency people use to survive instead of well… money.
Here’s the twist: everyone gets a free pass until they turn 25.
After that, the clock starts ticking, and if they want to keep living, they have to earn time. Working, trading, even stealing—it’s all about gathering those precious seconds.
Some people can be generous and give time to others, 👨👩👦👦 while others might head to a “time bank” 🏦 where they can borrow time—but with a steep interest rate of 30%! In this world, time is the ultimate currency. 💵
In the ghetto, time is scarce. The system is rigged against them, with prices constantly rising 💹 to drain their remaining hours.
Rent, food, everything costs time, and the goal is to keep them from living as long as those on the other side—on the city called Greenwich—where time flows endlessly.
There, people are practically swimming in it. ☀
And here’s where it gets really intriguing: in the wealthy city Greenwich, people take their time—literally.
They’re rich enough to gamble with it in casinos, playing poker as if they’re immortal because, well, they kind of are.
They live for centuries 💯 , not really caring about the passing years. But with all that time comes paranoia—they hire bodyguards to protect them from time thieves, they never leave their safe city, and they avoid risks at all costs.
But that’s not all! There are also "timekeepers," a sort of police force that ensures no one is stealing time and that everything runs according to the strict rules of this dystopian society. 🌆
This film makes you question the value of time, life, and the lengths people will go to for just a few more precious moments.
So this September, stay calm, don’t rush, breathe in, breathe out, relax you got well ….PLENTY of times😊
